The tour starts at Alexanderplatz, where high-rise buidlings are  under construction. From there, the tour continues via Molkenmarkt and the Nikolai Quarter to the Humboldt Forum on Museum Island. The tour finally ends at Gendarmenmarkt.

During the tour, the concept and the current status of the plans and projects will be discussed. The focus is on the different concepts  for transformation of these urban spaces in the central area. The tour lasts around two hours and includes a short break.
