What is Berlin doing about the consequences of global warming and climate adaptation? How do local climate effects appear in urban spaces, and what does that mean for infrastructure, human health, and city nature? How are data collected to describe an urban heat island? How can rainwater be used to increase the resilience of urban areas?

The tour showcases projects from municipal and private actors, as well as examples from civil society. Blue/green/gray infrastructure examples in Berlin-Mitte demonstrate how urban spaces can be enhanced and city infrastructure improved against climate consequences like heavy rain and heatwaves.
